1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Trinity Environmental uses cookies and similar technologies on www.trinityenvgroup.com. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, and software development tools that store or access information. Local storage is not technically a cookie, but this policy addresses it because it may remember a visitor's consent choice.
3. Technologies used or planned for the Site
On smaller screens, scroll horizontally to view all columns.
| Category | Technology | Provider | Purpose | Typical duration | Default |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Consent preference stored in local storage or comparable storage | Trinity | Remembers Accept or Reject so the Site can honor the visitor's choice. | Up to 6 months, unless deleted | Always active |
| Analytics | _ga |
Google Analytics | Helps distinguish pseudonymous visitors and measure Site use after analytics consent. | Typically up to 2 years; configuration may vary | Off until accepted |
| Analytics | GA4 property cookie (_ga_<ID>) |
Google Analytics | Helps maintain and count sessions for the configured GA4 property after analytics consent. | Typically up to 2 years; configuration may vary | Off until accepted |
Google and browser behavior may change. This policy will be updated if the Site's technology, configuration, purposes, or typical cookie durations materially change.
4. Analytics
If a visitor accepts analytics, the Site may use GA4 to understand visits, sessions, page interactions, approximate location, and browser or device information. GA4 generally uses first-party cookies, including the identifiers listed above. Analytics is used to evaluate and improve the Site; it is not used for advertising or remarketing.
The Site does not currently enable Google Signals, Google Ads linking, ad personalization, remarketing, or other advertising features. Trinity will review this Cookie Policy, the Privacy Policy, the consent banner, and applicable requirements before enabling any such features.
5. Consent and cookie controls
On a visitor's first visit, the Site provides clear choices to Accept Analytics or Reject Analytics. No GA4 analytics cookie is set before acceptance. Strictly necessary storage may operate without optional consent because it is used to remember and honor the visitor's selection.
A visitor can change the choice at any time through the Cookie Settings link in the Site footer. Rejecting or withdrawing consent stops future optional analytics collection on that browser. Previously collected information may remain in aggregated records or be retained as allowed by law and applicable settings.
A visitor can also block or delete cookies through browser settings. Deleting the consent preference may cause the banner to appear again. Blocking all storage may affect the Site's ability to remember the choice.
6. Google controls and information
Google provides information about Google Analytics safeguards and data practices through its Google Analytics privacy documentation. Google also offers a browser add-on designed to prevent Google Analytics from using visit data. Availability and compatibility are controlled by Google.
7. No advertising cookies
The Site is not currently designed to use Google Ads, remarketing, advertising personalization, or cross-context behavioral advertising cookies. Trinity will update this policy and the consent controls before adding those technologies.
8. Changes to this policy
Trinity may update this Cookie Policy when technologies, providers, purposes, settings, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be posted with a new effective date. Trinity will conduct a new cookie scan and consent test whenever tracking tools are added or materially changed.
